An unusual daylight move occurred over CSX on the afternoon of August 26, 2019. Kawaski built Long Island Rail Road M9s (KRMX 9021/9022) were brought to Metro-North's High Bridge Yard by the AMMO and picked up by CSX Y102. The cars were brought to New York & Atlantic Railroad in Fresh Pond where they will eventually be picked up by the Long Island Rail Road and brought to their Hillside Facility. CSX Y102 (8850, SD40-2/1712, SD40E3/475, AC4400CW) is seen crossing the Little Hell Gate Bridge on the way to interchange a pair of M9s with LIRR on Monday, August 26, 2019. It is traveling on CSX's dedicated freight track, which is adjacent to Amtrak's two tracks that carry passenger trains.
