NJ Transit ALP45-DP 4519 was wrapped in the Erie Lackawanna paint scheme, combining the commemoration of both Erie diesel and Lackawanna electric service into one locomotive. NJTR 4302 is one of four GP40-2 models on the roster. These are similar to the many GP40s that operate in passenger service, but do not have Head End Power, and are used exclusively for non-revenue service.

Hoboken Meet Our Rail Fleet: Past and Present In 2024. On Sunday, September 15, 2024, NJ Transit hosted an event for the public to have an opportunity to view and photograph its roster of special scheme equipment. Also on display were a pair of museum visitors from the local area. After a two plus decade absence, this free event made its return last year, following in the tradition of the original Hoboken Festival that was a staple of 80s and 90s railfanning in the Garden State.
