The Employee Holiday Train was heading back to GCT with MNCW 214 (40th Anniversary/Employee Appreciation) trailing the 5-car consist and MNCW 211 (40th Anniversary/New York Central) leading.

An Hour At Mott Haven. On the frosty early morning of Friday, December 6, 2024, pre-dawn was the time to be at Mott Haven in the Bronx, New York while an assortment of interesting MTA Metro-North Railroad trains were in transit to various locations. This area and south (or east for the traditionalists of the NYC) too Grand Central Terminal brings together all three main lines, and thus has the most train movements that can be seen.
