Buses and Trolleys In Philly. On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the Friends of Philadelphia Trolleys sponsored a charter in conjunction with the East Penn Traction Meet. The trip covered various West Philadelphia routes using SEPTA 9000, which was repainted to its "as-delivered" appearance last year. A few private bus owners showed up at significant (uncompensated) personal cost to add some new interesting angles.

It should be noted that money collected on these trips goes to only 2 parties:
1 - SEPTA for the trolley
2 - Friends of Philadelphia Trolleys - who in turn gives 100%+ of the money to museums to fund restoration of SEPTA/SEPTA lineage cars
