Metro-North's Diesel Holiday Lights Train Goes To New Haven
In the early morning hours of January 3, 2026, the MTA Metro-North Railroad Holiday Lights Train with MNCW 203 (M-Central Heritage) visited New Haven, CT, for the final time. Both this train and an 8-car set of M8 electric MUs have been operating in revenue service on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines for the past month. Both are planned to end on Sunday, January 4, 2026. During this period, the train's lights are white.
