Danbury Railway Museum Equipment Moves To New Haven On Metro-North On the overnight of Saturday, September 20, 2025 to Sunday, September 21, 2025, MTA Metro-North Railroad moved EMD FL-9 CTDX 2006 and M2s MNCW 8707 and 8708 from the Danbury Railway Museum in Danbury, Connecticut to New Haven, Connecticut. This equipment will be on display during the Open House event on Saturday, October 4, 2025. This is the first time that either piece of equipment have been on the MNR Railroad in many years, though both are easily recognizable as fixtures in the Connecticut commuter scene for many decades.
