Metro-North Moves Danbury Railway Museum Equipment After The Open House. On the overnight of Saturday, October 11, 2025, to Sunday, October 12, 2025, MTA Metro-North Railroad moved EMD FL-9 CTDX 2006 and M2s MNCW 8706 and 8707 from New Haven, Connecticut, to The Danbury Railway Museum in Danbury, Connecticut. This equipment was on display during the Open House event on Saturday, October 4, 2025. This is the first time that either piece of equipment has been on the MNR Railroad in many years, though both are easily recognizable as fixtures in the Connecticut commuter scene for many decades.
