NYSW Office Car Special With America250/Flag Unit Debut
On Thursday, June 4, 2026, the New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway operated an Office Car Special round trip from Binghamton, New York to Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania. The unusual consist featured private cars leased from the United Railroad Historical Society of NJ and the Port Jervis Transportation Museum. The cars have been operating in Geneva, NY, on the Finger Lakes Railroad. The trip also marked the public introduction of the new paint scheme on NYSW 3634 SD45-2, which celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the United States.
