MTA NYCT Subway Jay-Z30 Immersive Pop-Up Experience

The Bowery Station was rebuilt from 2001 to 2005, closing the previously northbound platform to the public and removing a track. This single-track, island platform is normally closed to the public, but is used for movie shoots, training, and other activities. The Jay-Z event was held over two days - June 25, 2026-June 26, 2026, and was free to the public. A train of R32 cars was brought to the station and wrapped (and later unwrapped) on site with a similar design to the R160s on the J, but only on one side and not on the ends. The event centered around newly released merchandise and included complimentary food from Lucali Pizza and Cloudy Donut.
