We serve with pride. MTA LIRR 166 (MP15AC) made a visit to the paint shop, and came out with a heritage LIRR keystone logo. As the other owner of the Long Island Rail Road for the majority of its history, the Pennsylvania Railroad's designs can still be seen all over the four counties served by today's trains. On the night of September 11, 2019, a chance encounter with this engine includes the "Tribute In Light" in the background, a little over four miles from where the lights will shine through the night in lower Manhattan as a memorial to the tragedies of September 11, 2001.
