An Autumn Day On The Springfield Line. The morning of Sunday, October 26, 2025 was a good time to catch some Springfield Line action. A variety of equipment showed up from Amtrak and CTrail, including Phase VII P42DCs. The 'news' is the recently cleared land adjoining the canal in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Extensive construction has been underway at Windsor Locks for quite some time as the "new" station, a rebuild of the original station, is finally close to coming to an end.
