Coming Through on Track 9 3/4! As part of Amtrak's agreement to be the official rail transportation partner for the Broadway show of Based off of J.K. Rowling's “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child", four Siemens ACS-64 motors have been "wrapped" with a Harry Potter themed design. In the book, Harry and his friends get to the platform for the Hogwarts Express by dashing through a brick wall between platforms 9 and 10 at King's Cross Station in London, England, thus track 9 3/4. In reality, AMTK 653 is leading Amtrak Northeast Regional Train 173 on Track 4 through Harrison, New Jersey on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 with the New York City skyline in the background.
