Fixing The Meatballs. During an Electric Railroaders Association tour on May 5, 2013, a pair of AEM-7s were captured while receiving a little shop time at Amtrak's Wilmington Maintenance Facility in Wilmington, Delaware. With the Siemens ACS-64s only a few years away, these motors were already on short time. Distinguishable by their number boards, AMTK 924 on the left was part of the AEM-7AC rebuild program, while AMTK 952 on the right was not.
