CSX W003 With Three Cars. CSX W003 was led by CSXT GP40WH-2 9969 (ex-MARC 69, née-New York Central Railroad 3051, GP40) on Thursday, June 26, 2025, seen in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, approaching CP 5 and Overpeck Creek. This train travels the CSX system and occasionally non-CSX lines under contract to ensure the tracks are in good 'shape'. After using only the two rear cars for many years, the 'Grand Rapids' 994369 was recently added to the consist to be used as a crew car. Also relatively recent is the repainting of the two rear cars in the CSX B&O style heritage paint, matching the rest of the business train fleet. Under the "S Ball" on the left, leased Norfolk Southern GP38-2 5265 (née-PC 8052, 2/1973) awaits the next call to service for the New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway.
