On This Budd, You Can Have A 312. A unique idea in mobile beverage service, Goose Island worked with Craftsmen Industries, Inc. to convert former Chicago Transit Authority car 2347 (1969-1970, Budd) into a road certified trailer. Inside, beer taps were installed, the underside was modified to use tires, and even the cars headlights now function as turn signals. Goose Island, based in Chicago, takes the vehicle around the area to various events and serve its signature "312" urban wheat ale, named after the telephone area code of downtown Chicago, Illinois. On Monday, August 29, 2022, the trailer is seen at Seatgeek Stadium, home of the MLS Chicago Fire amongst other teams, about to return to its garage after a very busy Sunday.
