12 Years Ago Today....Pumpkin Patch At CTM
Looking for good fall foliage color and interesting scenes, I was working my way across Connecticut rail museums, hitting 3 that day with a few commuter rail shots in between. This was my third lifetime visit to CTM. The leaves here had already fallen a bit, so of you zoom in you can clearly see the holiday lights in place.
Montreal 2600 is a double-ended 1929 car built by CCF. It operated in Montreal from 1929-1959, and upon retirement came to the now Connecticut Trolley Museum. The "North Rd Station" and "Warehouse Point" roll signs were obviously a post-retirement addition.
