All About Timing. The time that CSX loaded coal train C748-22 passsed throguh Tompkins Cove in Stony Point, New York with CSX 4762 (SD70AC, EMD) was leading, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, was a bit delayed due to a curfew on the CSX River Sub related to graduation ceremonies at the United States Military Academy at West Point. The line passes directly through the campus, including through a tunnel under several buildings. Heading out early, there was a long wait as the sun played "peekaboo" with the clouds. Later in the afternoon, it began to rain, and not a moment before the train's arrival the sun appeared, creating a double rainbow above the scene.
