Daylight Through Breakneck. On September 8, 2022, CSX M701-07 was a late runner, passing through the rock cut at the north end of Breakneck Ridge in Fishkill, New York, during the afternoon hours. With a robust four-pack of power (CSXT 8881 & 8128 [SD40-2], 484 & 471 [AC44CW]), the train had no problem traveling along the gentle grades along the Hudson River. This train normally comes through this area in darkness, making this quite a sight for commuters who might have been waiting at stations along the way.
