Welcome Home. On the morning of Saturday, September 27, 2025, CSX M701-26 arrived at Oak Point Yard in the Bronx, New York, CSXT 7380 (CM44AC) trailing. This unit is the first of the next generation of road power that has been modified, including receiving the proper PTC equipment and plow cutting to run down the Hudson Line in third rail territory. CSXT 7380 was rebuilt from CSXT 480, a CW44AC that had previously been approved for third rail clearance.
