Meet In Yonkers. On the morning of Wednesday, November 2, 2022, CSX M701-01 was held at Croton for a few hours, but was out again surprising early, passing through Yonkers, New York at a little after 0900. CSXT 468 (AC44CW) leads the normally nocturnal sole daily southbound freight train as it approaches Babcock Place in Yonkers, New York passing an MTA Metro-North Railroad train of M7As heading northbound. In the background, the smokestacks of the former New York Central powerhouse near the Glenwood Station rise above the scene next to the Hudson River. Construction on the road bridge at Babcock Place was recently completed, allowing the opportunity to photograph from this location.
