Powered For Conrail. CSX K006-05 (Bensenville, IL - Port Reading, NJ) passed through CP Fran in Newark, New Jersey, late on the morning of February 8, 2020. The train had come from Illinois to Selkirk with NS 7033 (SD60E) and NS 3611 (ET44AC), where it had CSXT 8812 (SD40-2) added for the final leg of the trip down the River Sub to Conrail Shared Assets. While Norfolk Southern also runs ethanol trains here, those trains would typically come through Oak Island Yard and would have the cars coming from the left in the background, or would have taken the Port Reading Secondary, never passing through this interlocking. Conrail Shared Assets is jointly owned by CSX and Conrail, and it is common to see mixed power from both railroads.
