Wasn't Always Foreign Power. While 'foreign power' (locomotives from railroads other than the home road) is not uncommon on the CSX River Sub, it can usually be found on ethanol trains. Thus, on April 21, 2018, CSX Train Q003, led by NS 8351 (née-CR 6112 GE C40-8W, GE, 3/1991) and CSXT 805 (ES44AC-H, GE, 1/2008), made for an attractive target. The train is seen rolling along the shores of the Hudson River in Cornwall-On-Hudson, New York. The lead locomotive is an "Ex-Con" (former Conrail), and likely traveled these tracks in blue and white when it was new.
