There Was A Boat There. On February 25, 2015 CSXT 7549 (C40-8, 9/1989) leads CSX train Q156 through Fort Montgomery, New York on the shores of an icy Hudson River. In the mid-ground of the photo are the remnants of a boat that ran aground at this location many years prior. Intermittently viewed as a photo prop and an obstruction, that winter the river washed its remaining upper structure. Low tide in this picture shows the remainders of the hull of the boat, which are still there today.
