A late running CSX X701-14 was slowly traveling through the s-curves by the MTA Metro-North Railroad Ludlow Station in Yonkers, New York on the morning of Monday, April 15, 2024 under a cloudless sky as it passed a newly open area with CSXT 464 leading. The neighborhood around the railroad is seeing a construction binge as residential housing replaces older commercials and industrial structures. In the background, though no longer a rail customer, Domino Sugar still operates here as it has for over 120 years.
