LN 152 Restoration. The restoration of Louisville & Nashville Railroad 152 (a 4-6-2 "Pacific" built by Rogers in 1905) began roughly a month before these photos were taken on August 4, 2015. L&N 152 was the first locomotive acquired by the NRHS chapter that founded The Kentucky Railway Museum, and was transported to its original location on River Road in Louisville, Kentucky. The museum subsequently relocated to New Haven, Kentucky. Originally restored to operation in 1985, the locomotive pulled excursion trains until its retirement in 2011. L&N 152 was built in Paterson, New Jersey, by the Rogers Locomotive Works; today, the former manufacturing site houses the Paterson Museum. Fundraising continues; earlier in 2026, the museum announced that funding for the project had surpassed 60 percent.
