Milan Display. For about a decade, former Milan, Italy cars 1351 (ex-Milan 1906) and 1352 (ex-Milan 1811, not to be confused with Market Street Milan Car 1811, which is ex-Milan 1911) were on display in St Louis, Missouri after being restored by the Gomaco Corporation of Ida Grove, Iowa. The cars were built between 1927-1930 as part of a 500-car order. On January 13, 2012, both could be seen in a winter setting thanks to recent snows. Ultimately, both were returned to Gomaco and since the system opened in 2018, it has used two modern era construction retro cars that had previously operated in Portland, Oregon.
