Almost Home. MHWA 2453 (née-Erie Lackawanna 2453, Alco C425, 10/1964) passes the watch tower on Schuyler Street in Utica, NY on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, just a short distance from the yard. Due to a mechanical failure of THE NEW YORK, SUSQUEHANNA AND WESTERN RAILWAY CORP. 3040, Genesee Valley Transportation Co., Inc. MHWA 2453 was borrowed to cover the Utica, New York UT-1 operation.The tower is maintained by the Utica & Mohawk Valley Chapter, NRHS.
