Can't Let 2/11 Pass Without A 211 Pic. On the night of January 18, 2026, it was snowing lightly as MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 8847 passed through the Ludlow Station in Yonkers, New York, with MNCW 211 (New York Central/40th Ann) leading. This unit was the third of the 40th Anniversary units that celebrate predecessor railroads and earlier paint schemes. It is seen here on its nominal home rails enroute from Grand Central Terminal to Poughkeepsie, New York.
