MTA Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line Inspection Train
On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, MTA Metro-North Railroad operated an Inspection Train round-trip between Grand Central Terminal in New York, New York, and Poughkeepsie, New York, using P32AC-DM MNCW 201, the railroad's NYS/Conrail heritage unit, MNCW 310, the newest Siemens SC42-DM to be accepted, 2 of the standard Inspection Cars, and MNCW 6347. The older cars are the two former Lackawanna Railroad (MN 1 and MN 2). The Inspection Train gives railroad executives and management the opportunity to inspect many ongoing, completed, and needed improvements on the line.
