MTA Metro-North Railroad/LPS Laser Train (2025). This year signifies the start of the second full season of at-speed Laser Train running. The train was able to dramatically expand the trackage it could cover by increasing its running speed, and thus regular runs were made to Southeast, Danbury, and, as necessary to New Canaan, Poughkeepsie, and Waterbury. The train is based out of MTA Metro-North Railroad's Croton Harmon Yard, and covers the Lower Hudson Line as part of every move. In recent days, it has used P32AC-DM MNCW 203 (M Central/MNR Heritage Fleet) with holiday lights added for an upcoming special project this season.
