Pulling Back The Barrier. Since the early hours of Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the construction barrier has been fully removed from the middle of the Park Avenue Viaduct near the MTA Metro-North Railroad Harlem-125 Street Station. The Park Avenue Viaduct reconstruction started in 2022, and is projected for completion in 2027. On this morning, MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 813 has just climbed the grade out of the Park Avenue Tunnel with MNCW 301 (SC42-DM, Siemens) leading the way to Poughkeepsie, New York, as it passes trains 630 (M7A 4224 trailing) and 1533 (M8 9508 trailing) under the Mi-Jack Crane, which will also soon be moved.
