SC42 South Facing On The Harlem Line. On December 23, 2025, the MTA Metro-North Railroad PMMO (PM MOtt Haven) switch crew moved a 1-car SC42-DM train with MNCW 305 leading from North White Plains to Croton Harmon. The train is seen passing through the Hartsdale, New York, station with its beautiful Tudor Revival design. In almost all cases, the motive power on a coach train faces north on Metro-North. This morning, ironically, an SC42-DM led a revenue train on the Harlem Line for the first time, also facing south.
