Charging Over The Flyover. On Monday. June 1, 2026, MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 1831 experienced a mechanical problem with its cab car in Danbury, Connecticut, and turned to have the locomotive lead the train to Grand Central Terminal (GCT). The train is seen crossing the Woodlawn Flyover in the Bronx, New York, with Siemens SC42-DM "Charger" MNCW 307 leading. Good timing brings together a three-way meet with Train 511 heading to North White Plains (below) and Train 624 also heading to GCT (background) both in the shot. After arriving in GCT, the train would be looped and assessed to investigate what mechanical work might be needed to rectify the situation.
