For the 150th Anniversary of the Borough of North Wales, Pennsylvania a day of special train was operated using New Hope & Ivyland 40 (2-8-0 Consolidation, Baldwin, 1925, ex-Lancaster and Chester Railroad) on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Despite tough sun and various other photographic challenges, I assembled the album of a sampling of the day's activities for this (hopefully not) unique, or highly usual event of steam operating on a commuter railroad in Pennsylvania in the 21st century.
