Heavy Cab to Hoboken. On August 15, 2018, NJTR 4119 (F40PH-2CAT) was leading Train 1070, seen here crossing the Passaic River in Newark, New Jersey. A standard NJT consist in diesel territory typically has a locomotive only on the west end of the train. However, during this period, many cab cars were out of service for PTC installation, and the shortage was alleviated by using diesels on both ends.
