IRT Redbirds Via B Division. On the night of November 7, 2024, a six-car train of MTA NYCT Subway/New York Transit Museum R-33/R-36 cars was transferred from 207 Street Yard to Coney Island Yard in advance of a special that operated for a movie shoot that weekend. The train is seen passing through the B Division/A Line 181 Street Station in New York, New York, a few blocks from the IRT Station where cars of this type operated during their service careers. The cars would operate that weekend on the 7/Flushing Line before returning, a line that is classified as B1 Division by the NYCT for certain purposes, but has platform clearances for 9 foot wide cars, and so uses equipment that is built to A Division/IRT specifications and is only connected to the rest of the system at Queensboro Plaza vis the N Line.
