MTA NYCT Subway/NYTM Lo-V, near Unionport Yard, Bronx, New York

Cresting the grade near Bronx Park East. This flyover connecting the former New York, Westchester & Boston Railway with the IRT White Plains Road Line was completed in 1957, prior to which the 5 Line had been operated as a separate shuttle.

Lo-Vs In The Bronx. As part of the 120th Anniversary of the Interborough Rapid Transit Company and the City Of New York operating the first revenue subway train from City Hall Station, a second day of excursions with a month of using the New York Transit Museum four-car Lo-V set was operated on Saturday, November 16, 2024. These 100-year old cars are still used on a regular basis for Nostalgia Specials across the MTA NYCT Subway System. On this day, the trips started at the normally closed South Ferry Station on the loop and terminated at Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, giving passengers the opportunity to ride both the 7th Avenue/Broadway and Lexington Avenue Lines, including a trip around the City Hall Loop and brief visit to the former New York, Westchester and Boston Railway (today's 5 Line) at Morris Park to changed ends.
