Budds In Brooklyn. On the evening of Wednesday, October 22, 2025, MTA NYCT Subway 3888 led an 8-car train of R-32s to Coney Island Yard, seen approaching the 18 Avenue Station in Brooklyn, New York. This train of retired cars is frequently used for training and movie assignments, and on November 8, 2025 will operate for a ticketed excursion for the New York Transit Museum. In the background, the skyline of Manhattan is highlighted by the 1,776-foot-tall Freedom Tower.
