MTA NYC Subway/Transit Museum Farewell To The R-32s

Visions in the Fog. When the MTA NYCT Transit Budd built R-32 fleet was overhauled Morrison-Knudsen for from 1988-1990, the next generation New York City residents lost the opportunity to see the the cars as they had been designed, with a blue door and handsome front display, when they paint was removed in favor of an all stainless appearance and a single letter digital sign was the only display. On January 2, 2022, R-32 3360 leads north through the Brighton Beach Station from Coney Island Yard with the consist for the 3rd of 4 "Farewell To The R-32s" excursion with a number of new "retro" details added by Transit employees for the occasion.
