High Level Track Work. On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, MTA NYCT Subway Manhattan bound J Line service operated express from Broadway Junction to Myrtle Avenue to accommodate track work. As part of this project, an impressive 5 work trains with cranes were deployed along with several ground-based large Bay Cranes to operate in tandem with the Track Department, moving components to and from the street and installing them on J2 Track. Service changes like this can be inconvenient for passengers, but are necessary for the continued operation of a 24-hour system.
