Philadelphia Rapid Transit sweeper car C-130 represent this class of car that was common to North America systems, though not native to the area. Later operator SEPTA held on to these cars late into their service life, which fortunately made them available to museums.

New York's Electric Trolley Museum. The New York Museum of Transportation (NYMT) in Rush, New York is the only operating electric museum in New York State, but the collection includes other modes of transportation including railroad cars and buses. During a visit on Sunday, August 10, 2008, both former Philadelphia & Western RR "Strafford" cars (161 & 168) made an appearance out on the line. But make sure to walk around and see the exhibits inside to the building as well that document the history of Rochester area transit.
