Rochester City 437, NY Museum Of Trasnportation, Rush, New York
Rochester Railway Co. 437 is a double-truck, wood semi-convertable city car (Kuhlman, 1904). Although only a car body, it represents this period of streetcar operation.
New York's Electric Trolley Museum. The New York Museum of Transportation (NYMT) in Rush, New York is the only operating electric museum in New York State, but the collection includes other modes of transportation including railroad cars and buses. During a visit on Sunday, August 10, 2008, both former Philadelphia & Western RR "Strafford" cars (161 & 168) made an appearance out on the line. But make sure to walk around and see the exhibits inside to the building as well that document the history of Rochester area transit.
