Feels Like Fall, The Fall Foliage "Circle Line Trip" lived up to its name on October 18, 2014. A chartered Providence & Worcester Railroad train took passengers from Worcester, Massachusetts through Woonsocket, Rhode Island down to the North East Corridor Line just north of Providence. From there it headed south to Groton, Connecticut, and ultimately back up to Worcester. PW 4003 (B40-8, 6/1988) and 2009 (GP38-2, 9/1982) were the power for this excursion, which certainly had a New England autumn feel throughout the day.
