It Pays To Stay Trackside. After Union Pacific Railroad's 4-8-8-4 4014 (Big Boy) crossed the Mississippi River over Huey P. Long Bridge on the afternoon of Friday, August 20, 2021, a decision was made to back the train into Audubon Park (aka The Fly) on a different route than previously planned. An unexpected return to East Bridge Junction in excellent light yielded a view of the Big Boy with the East Bridge Jct. Tower as it reversed towards New Orleans for its display event on Saturday.
