School Car At WTC. During the early morning hours of August 19, 2026, a train of MTA NYCT Subway R211A cars stopped at the World Trade Center (E Line) station to change ends. While asking permission to leave, the train identified itself as "School Car," the designation for runs that train the next generation of Train Operators. Because the E Line is only assigned R160s, this was an unusual visitor.
