The Lehigh Valley Chapter of the NRHS operated a charter over the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad on 4/22/2017. At the wye at Mill Creek Junction that joins the former Reading Railroad routes from Tamaqua (currently Middleport) and Reading in Port Carbon, Pennsylvania, we look down from the Route 209 overpass on the Schuylkill River as Budd Company Rail Diesel Cars (RDCs) 9168 (ex-New York Central Railroad) and 9166 (ex-Reading and Boston and Maine) head to Pottsville, PA.
