What is today the Palace of Fine Arts was originally built in 1915 for the Panama-Pacific Exhibition, but the building has been rebuilt and repurposed multiple times over the years. It has been used for filming in movies as diverse as Vertigo (1958) and The Rock (1996). The theater has been the set for a Vice Presidential and Wheel Of Fortune, and a scale size duplicate was built as part of Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim. Check it out at some time!
