Sleeping Under The Stars. On the night of Sunday, November 24, 2019, Shenandoah Valley Railroad Alco RS-11 DGRV 367 sat in Staunton, Virginia (ex-MECR 367, née-NW 367, RS11, Alco, 11/1958) awaiting the next day’s work. For over a decade, it has been in Staunton and has been the workhorse of the railroad’s freight trains. Its paint scheme is a tribute to its “as delivered” Norfolk and Western colors.
