Foreign Power in Connecticut or "There are more Ferrys than just the Kennedy!"
After an inordinate amount of Ferry talk today, I dug up this picture of 'Austen Class" ferry "John A. Noble", which I shot in Bridgeport, CT from a passing Port Jeff-Bridgeport Ferry. In the background is the Barnum Museum, perhaps the most famous landmark in Bridgeport. John A. Noble (1913–83), was a Staten Island marine artist.
Natives of Richmond County and true SI Ferry denizens will know the nickname for the class of ship.....
