A docent was on hand to give an explanation of how wheels are built and changed.

Steam At Steamtown. As part of the Railfest Weekend at Steamtown National Historic Site on Saturday, August 30, 2025, passenger steam was operated in the yard. The star of the day was Baldwin Locomotive Works 26 (0-6-0, 3/1929, Baldwin). But many other locomotives from Steamtown's collection were also on display for the public to see while walking around the Scranton, Pennsylvania, former Delaware, Lackawanna, and Western Railroad yard.
